U-14s v Carras – Match Report
Davitts hosted Carras in Div 2B of the U-14 League on Thursday with Carras winning an entertaining match by 4-9 to 3-8.
The physically stronger Carras team made the early running and built up a big lead but two excellent goals from Bon Glynn kept Davitts in touch as they trailled by 3-4 to 2-3 at the break.
Davitts fought tirelessly in the second hald driven on by Cathal Corless, Dylan Gallagher, Cathal Devane, Jack Melvin and Bon Glynn. Cathal Corless scored Davitts second half goal but the visitors always held the upperhand and went on to win by four points.
