Davitts GAA Club will hold their A.G.M. in the Community Centre, Ballindine on Sunday November 29th at 6pm. Everybody with an interest in the club is expected to attend, especially new members.
Don’t forget that tickets will go on sale shortly for the clubs Dinner Dance, which will be held in The Western Hotel, Claremorris on Dec 29th.

An under strength senior team brought the curtain down on their league campaign on Sunday in Castlebar, where they were defeated 2-9 to 0-5 by the locals, in a game of little importance to either club, played in atrocious conditions. Castlebar, were always in front and led by 0-7 to 0-3 at the interval. Davitts best players were Kevin Gallagher, Michael Ronayne, Frankie Barrett, Colm Boyle, John Heneghan, Liam Kearns, Aidan McTigue and Fergal McGrath, who fought hard throughout.
