U-16’s v Kiltimagh – League Division 2 semi-final
Davitts U-16 team were defeated by Kiltimagh in the League Division 2 semi-final played in Kiltimagh on Tuesday evening. The final scoreline was 2-15 to 3-6. Davitts were playing second fiddle to their hosts throughout and trailed by 1-8 to 0-4 at halftime. Three fine second half goals by Gerard Griffin, Michael Clarke and Tommy Waldron put a much better look on the scoreboard, but overall Davitts can have no complaints with the result. Davitts best on this occasion were Michael Mangan, Donie Ronayne, William Freeley, Thomas Waldron and sub Shane Cummins.
