Davitts 5-16  Achill 1-3

Davitts U-16 team got back to winning ways with a big win over Achill in Div 6 of the league on Wednesday evening in Ballindine. Davitts got on top from the start and had built up a sizeable 4-10 to 0-0 lead by half time. Dylan Burke, Noah O Brien, Aaron O Dea and Sean Clarke were the goalscorers while Aaron O Dea (6), Noah O Brien, Malachy Devane, Dylan Burke and Sean Clarke fired over the first half points.

Achill were much better after the break and they scored 1-3 in the second half although this would have been much more but for some superb saves by Davitts keeper Ronan Hett. Davitts added a fifth goal scored by Aaron C B. The same player fired over two points, Aaron O Dea scored two while Dylan Burke and Sean Clarke had one each, to complete Davitts tally.
