U-14’s v The Neale – Match Report
Davitts U-14 team made it three wins from five outings in the league with a fine 4-15 to 4-8 victory over The Neale in Cong on Monday evening. Davitts were well on top in the first half and led by 2-7 to 0-5 at half time with Jamie Mullee and Andrei Trench getting the goals. The defence were on top in this period with Ryan McLoughlin, Kieran Fahy and John Kilkenny initiating a number of attacks from their own backline.
Davitts continued to dominate the second half but had to withstand a late scoring blitz from the plucky Neale team. Jack Ronayne and Cian Naughton supplied the second half goals as the whole team played their parts in this good win.
