U-14’s v Swinford – Match Report
Davitts U-14 team defeated Swinford in a championship tie played in Ballindine on Sunday morning. Both teams played some splendid football with Davitts emerging winners on a 2-13 to 2-7 scoreline. Davitts forwardline, deprived of the services of Daniel Huane, were in top form with Shane Treacy and Jack Ronayne leading the charge. Treacy and Kelan Cosgrove were the goalscorers, as Evan Ronayne lorded it at midfield. Others to star for Davitts were Caolan Mullee in goals, Denis Og and Ciaran Fahy and Kieran Waldron.
