U-12’s v Islaneady and Miinors v Ardmoy
Davitts U-12 team, short a number of regulars, were defeated by Islandeady, 5-18 to 3-7, in Ballindine on Thursday evening. Davitts top players in this game were Lorcan Diskin, Dimitri and Andrey Trench, Kelan Cosgrove, Rebecca Waldron, Evan Ronayne, Daniel Huane and Cian Treacy.
Also on Thursday evening, the Minor team hosted Ardmoy in the Summer league on, and defeated their visitors 3-12 to 1-3 in an impressive display. Davitts led by 2-2 to 0-2 at the break but stepped up a few gears in the second half, with midfielder Mark Ronayne and centre half forward Darren Connolly in unstoppable form.
