Tickets for All Ireland Final 2013 – update
Members are advised that the tickets for the All Ireland Final will be distributed on Thursday (19th September). The club acknowledges the lateness of this date, but it is a direct result of the timing of ticket issuance from the County Board.
Club officers have asked that members cease to continue ticket enquiries by phone or text, as they are making every effort to source as many tickets as possible ahead of Sunday.
The club would also like to highlight a severe shortage in the quantity of tickets that was received from the Mayo County Board this year. Recent reports in national media in the last week have proved accurate; allocations of club tickets are down by 1/3 on last year. This will mean that a significant contingent of the club members who received tickets from the club last year will be disappointed this year.
Attempts by all members to source tickets from outside the club / county is strongly advised. Your patience and cooperation when ticket allocations are communicated / collected on Thursday is greatly appreciated. If you have been allocated a ticket, you will be contacted in due course.
