Seniors v The Neale – Match Report
Davitts U-14 team had a good 3-8 to 0-4 win over Moy Davitts in Ballindine on Saturday. Playing into the wind in the first half, the home side led by 1-4 to 0-1 at the break, with the impressive Cian Naughton getting the goal and two points and Stephen Nyland and Niall Kearns completing the first half tally.
Moy Davitts fought hard in the second half but they never really looked like getting back into the game. Two goals from Niall Kearns put paid to the Moy Davitts challenge.
Outstanding for Davitts were David Devane, Jordan Flanagan, Dimitri Trench, Niall Kearns, Niall Treacy and Cian Naughton.
