Minors v Kilmeena – Match Report
Davitts Minor team welcomed Kilmeena to Davitt Park on Friday evening and ran out convincing winners, 4-19 to 1-11, in Div 4 of the County League.
First half goals from midfielders Stephen Nyland and Fenton Kelly helped Davitts build up a healthy 2-12 to 0-4 lead at the break.
Two further goals from the in-form Zack Keadin in the second half kept the battling Kilmeena lads at bay.
There were top class displays from Joe Prendergast, Charlie Phillips, Stephen Nyland, Fenton Kelly, Niall Treacy, man of the match Zack Keadin and Jack Devane in this game.
