Davitts and Breaffy met in Breaffy on Sunday in Division 2 of the Minor League, and two well matched teams drew 0-12 to 0-12 after an exciting match. Davitts led by 0-7 to 0-5 at half time after playing with the assistance of the stiff wind, the scores coming from Cathal Hennelly, Evan Ronayne (2), Thomas Waldron, Liam Noone (2) and Michael Clarke. At no stage in the match was there ever more than two points separating the teams and a draw was definitely the fairest outcome.
