Minors v Ballyhaunis – Match Report
Davitts Minor team got back to winning ways in the League with an emphatic 3-18 to 0-8 victory over Ballyhaunis in Ballindine on Friday evening. Davitts dominated the game from the throw in and led by 1-9 to 0-2 at halftime with the very impressive Cathal Hennelly scoring the goal after twenty minutes.
The Davitts forwardline were linking well with Hennelly, Evan Ronayne, Shane Treacy and Gerald Griffin all in the mood. Two classy second half Evan Ronayne goals ensured a comfortable win for Davitts.
As well as those already mentioned, Davitts had fine displays from Michael and Padraig Mangan, Denis Fahy and Patrick Keadin.
