Minors v Ballintubber – Match Report
On Friday evening the Minors had a very good 3-13 to 2-12 victory over Ballintubber in Ballindine after a great contest. Davitts had led by 1-8 to 0-3 with five minutes remaining in the first half but a purple spell by the visitors yielded 1-3 before the break and Davitts looked in trouble, as they led by 1-8 to 1-6 at the break after playing with the assistance of the wind.
The homeside however played some super football against the wind in the second half with Caelainn Mullee, Jordan Flanagan, Thomas Corless, Niall Kearns, Kieran Fahy, Jack Ronayne, James Ruane and the impressive Ryan McLoughlin in fine form.
