Davitts 4-9 Ballina Stephenites 0-11
Davitts Minor team qualified for the League Semi-Final with an unexpected victory over a Ballina side, minus a few regulars, in Ballindine on Friday evening.
Davitts led by 2-5 to 0-5 at halftime with goals from Ritchie O Connor and the very impressive Cathal Hennelly. Davitts played with great discipline and when Ballina scored three early second half points, Hennelly showed his class with two more goals to give a message to the Mayo Minor Management team that he is one of the most exciting talents around.
Well done to the Davitts lads for an all-round team display.
