Davitts and Moy Davitts met in Div 1D of the Senior League on Sunday in Ballindine and the sides ended up all square, probably a fair result. Davitts trailled by a point at halftime, 1-5 to 0-9. Matthew Trench got the goal with Michael Waldron (2) and Liam Noone (3) supplying the points.
The two evenly matched sides traded blow for blow in the second half. A brilliant individual goal by Fearghal McGrath ten minutes from time looked like the matchwinner but Moy Davitts hit two late points to equalise.
Best for Davitts on this occasion were Lawrence Daly, James Cummins, Michael Waldron, Fearghal McGrath, Darren Connolly, Liam Noone and David McDonagh.
