Juniors fall at final hurdle
Davitts young Junior team fell at the final hurdle, after being defeated by 0-15 to 0-11 by Charlestown in the County Junior B Final on Sunday in McHale Park. Charlestown were the better team in the first half and led by 0-9 to 0-4 at the break. Davitts threw everything at them in the second half but just couldn’t find the goal that they needed to really get back into the game. This Davitts team (average age is less than 20) played with tremendous spirit in that second half with excellent displays from Darren Connolly, Thomas Waldron, Seamus Roche, Donal and Mark Ronayne
