Intermediate & Minor Championship Semi Finals preview
Davitts have finally made it back to the Mayo Intermediate Championship semi-finals after a seven year absence. All roads will lead to McHale Park, Castlebar on Sunday, October 2nd for our semi-final clash with Parke, throw in is at 2pm. Davitts have been motoring well so far this year while Parke, after a slow start, are beginning to hit top form at the right time of the season, so this has the makings of a cracking match. We expect a large crowd (as usual) of supporters at the game to support Peter Warren and the boys in their attempt to reach the club’s first Intermediate final in thirty years.
Meanwhile, the minor team will be playing Naoimh Phadraig in the County B semi-final. The date and venue for this game has not yet been fixed so check out the fixtures as it will more than likely be on the weekend of September 24th/25th. Again we would hope to have a big support for these lads who did the club proud with their great victory over Ballinrobe in the South Mayo final recently.
