Elverys GPA/GAA Youth Camps

Mayo Senior Footballers Barry Moran and Cillian O’Connor will be heading up the The Elverys GAA/GPA Youth Camp in Mayo that is being held in Castlebar from June 24th-28th. The camps are for boys between 13 and 15 years of age.

The camps are led by high profile inter-county players such as Mayo’s Cillian O’Connor, Dublin’s Bernard Brogan, Donegal’s Michael Murphy and Kilkenny’s Michael Fennelly and there are over 120 inter-county players involved in the various coaching teams nationwide.

The camps are the latest joint venture between the GAA and the players’ body and will see these youths get an insight into the life of an inter-county player in an action packed week that will include conditioned games, skills development, mental preparation, sports nutrition and athletic development. All participants will receive a limited edition Elverys Sports pack while there will also be an exciting skills competition with the chance to win a Lenovo laptop in each camp.

It’s a very important age for kids to say involved in sport and we feel very strongly about putting in place this type of initiative that gives kids the chance to stay involved in the GAA, in their communities during the summer.
