Davitts v Breaffy – Match Report

Davitts 1-14 Breaffy 0-6

Davitts ensured top spot in their group in the Michael Walsh Senior League with a rather comfortable eleven points victory over Breaffy in Ballindine on Sunday. Davitts looked sharp from the throw in and points from Seamus Roche, Josh Ronayne (2) and Thomas Waldron had them 0-4 to 0-2 ahead after ten minutes. The game’s crucial score came in the 12th minute when Josh Ronayne finished emphatically to the Breaffy net after some delightful play involving Thomas Waldron, Seamus Roche and Paul Carey. Further points from Carey, Ronayne and Waldron left Davitts ahead by 1-7 to 0-3 at the break.
