Davitts and Davitts Ladies to bring game show ‘Mr & Mrs’ to Irishtown!
Davitts and Davitts Ladies are teaming up to bring their version of the hit ITV programme ‘Mr & Mrs’ to Bourke’s of Irishtown on Saturday 9th March! We have a cracking line-up of couples who have kindly “volunteered” to take part in the competition. We have ensured that there is an excellent spread of ages…all the way from early 20’s up to 60’s! So one would imagine that the more … “seasoned”…contestants should know their partners a lot better than the young-guns, right…? Time will tell!
For the next three weeks, the couples taking part in the competition will be revealed on this site – one couple at a time, so watch this space! You will have a chance to voice your opinion over on the newly born ‘Davitts GAA Club’ Facebook page as to which couple you think has the best chance of winning (if you haven’t checked the Facebook page out yet, we encourage you to do so – and become a Fan!).
This is a night that is guaranteed to be a great laugh, as the couples, hosts (who will also be revealed shortly), and questions will bring a distinctly local feel to the popular game show. Tickets (€10) will be on sale from tomorrow (8th Feb) from any member of the Davitts or Davitts Ladies committees and the local shops and pubs. ‘Resident Club DJ’ – PJ Barrett will provide the musical entertainment once the winning contestants are crowned ALL STAR MR & MRS!
