Colm Boyle – ALL STAR
Congratulations to Colm Boyle on receiving a thoroughly deserved All-Star award on Friday night. He becomes only the fourth South Mayo man to be honoured (Joe McGrath, Kenneth Mortimer and Conor Mortimer being the other three) with this prestigious award.
As well as being a superb footballer, Colm is as nice a lad as you could meet. His dedication is second to none and he is a brilliant role model for all our young players along with our other Mayo senior player Michael Conroy.
Colm is a wonderful ambassador for his club and his county. He represented Ireland in the International Rules Series recently and, as ever, covered himself in glory. He is also a great clubman and is always willing to help the club.
Davitts GAA Club would also like to congratulate Keith Higgins, Lee Keegan and Aidan O Shea on picking up their awards. Well done lads.
