Castlebar v Davitts Division 1B – Match Report
An under strength senior team brought the curtain down on their league campaign on Sunday in Castlebar, where they were defeated 2-9 to 0-5 by the locals, in a game of little importance to either club, played in atrocious conditions. Castlebar, were always in front and led by 0-7 to 0-3 at the interval. Davitts best players were Kevin Gallagher, Michael Ronayne, Frankie Barrett, Colm Boyle, John Heneghan, Liam Kearns, Aidan McTigue and Fergal McGrath, who fought hard throughout.
