Bonniconlon v Davitts – Match Report
Davitts travelled to Bonniconlon on Sunday and were defeated 1-11 to 0-9 by the homeside, in the opening round of the secondary league. This was a disappointing result for the experimental Davitts side for whom only Michael Ronayne, Jonathon Clarke, David McDonagh, Carlos O Gara, Liam Kearns and Richie Kilkenny played to anything near their potential. On a positive note, it was great to see the return of Keith Glynn, Michael Conroy and Kieran Mooney, who were all introduced late on in the game. The next game in this competition is at home to Kilmaine on Sunday.
